Pest Repellant
It's iPhone Friday and here is a brief snap I took in a local Japanese store close to us where almost everything for sale is RM5.00. It is a treasure trove of useful (an not so useful) Japanese gadgets, and is an interesting visit just to see what bizarre things you can find. I particularly liked this section of the store which had an away of animal repellants including flies, mice, rats, centipedes, cats, dogs, ants, slugs, and snakes. So if you have a problem with any of these animals .... then you now know where to go.

This advertisement on the side of a building really stood out and made a good impact. Barneys is a chain of luxury department stores centred in New York. The chain owns large stores in New York City, Beverly Hills, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale, and smaller stores in other locations across the United States.
Brands sold include Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, The Row, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Maison Martin Margiela, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Prada, Jil Sander, Dries van Noten, Diane von Furstenberg, and Burberry Prorsum, as well as Barneys private label merchandise. The New York and Beverly Hills stores also have restaurants that are operated by third parties.

Kyoto Station
Kyoto Station is the most important transportation hub in Kyoto, Japan. It has Japan's second-largest train station building (after Nagoya Station) and is one of the country's largest buildings, incorporating a shopping mall, hotel, movie theater, Isetan department store, and several local government facilities under one 15-story roof. It also housed the Kyoto City Air Terminal until August 31, 2002.

Galeries Lafayette
In Boulevard Haussmann in the IXe arondissement of Paris sits the world famous Galeries Lafayette department store which is certainly by far the most beautiful store I have ever been in. The flagship store in Paris has 10 storeys and a stunning glass dome over the main part of the building.
